What if we just made art, not the climate crisis? Art Exhibition

Over the last months we've received wonderful art submissions. We are exhibiting the winners at Te Auaha from Friday 14th April till 26th April! 

 

Kia ora and welcome to Generation Zero Wellington’s Art exhibition: What if we just made art, not the climate crisis? Over the summer, many of you from all around te Whanganui-a-Tara have been creating beautiful art pieces full of hope. We are so excited to have the opportunity to exhibit some of these pieces and celebrate our community and future! We are launching the exhibition with an opening night on Friday 14th April, 6-7:30pm, full of kai, art and great conversation!

 

Where: Te Auaha Gallery, 65 Dixon Street, Te Aro
When: Friday, 14th April 6pm - 26th April 5pm.

 

Kicking off with some speakers and kai, you will have the opportunity to hear from the talented judges (check this), contribute to our community mural, connect with other community groups and members and celebrate hope for a climate safe future!

 

Exhibition accessibility:
Venue is wheelchair accessible, with wheelchair accessible toilet and non-gendered toilets.
Please let us know if you have any access needs and we can do our best to accommodate.
This event is a safe, inclusive event for all, especially our rainbow whānau. Please only attend if you can hold space, celebrate and show love for those of all backgrounds and identities. Hate and bigotry will not be tolerated.

 

There will be live music and some discussion groups at specific times which are yet to be confirmed - keep an eye out for them!
